The Drake Waterfowl Eqwader Jacket offers exceptional performance and versatility for outdoor enthusiasts. This innovative garment combines advanced fabric technologies to provide unparalleled protection and comfort in a wide range of weather conditions.

At the core of the Eqwader Jacket is our patented Eqwader technology (patent #7,318,239), which revolutionized waterfowl clothing. Inspired by the Earth's equator, we noticed a similar dividing line on the body when wearing chest waders: the upper body faces cold, hostile conditions, while the lower body experiences warm, humid conditions.

To address this challenge, we engineered a unique combination of fabrics. The sleeves and upper body are crafted from 100% waterproof, windproof, and breathable Guardian Flex fabric, keeping the essential areas dry and protected. In contrast, the lower body features a 200-gram, 100% polyester synthetic Double Down fabric that is 15 times more breathable than the upper waterproof material. This innovative dual-zone design works to prevent the build-up of perspiration and moisture, keeping you dry both inside and outside your waders.

For added durability and protection, the elbow and forearm areas are reinforced with HD3 fabric. The lower sides of the jacket are made from a 100% polyester high-gauge interlock stretch breathable Endurance fabric, further enhancing breathability and comfort.

The Eqwader Jacket is designed with a wealth of functional features to optimize your performance. It boasts two Time & Motion Magnattach Call and Whistle Pockets on the chest, as well as two Time & Motion zippered chest pockets underneath. These pockets provide convenient storage and access to essential gear. Adjustable Neoprene Cuffs allow for a secure and customizable fit, while two lower slash pockets keep your hands warm.
